About Pivot Recovery Connections
Pivot Recovery Connections (PRC) is a nonprofit diversion and recovery support program serving Webster County. The program provides a structured, community-based alternative to incarceration for individuals involved in non-violent and substance-related offenses while also welcoming individuals who seek recovery support voluntarily.
PRC combines accountability, recovery support, education, and workforce development in a single setting. Participants engage in daily programming designed to build stability, responsibility, and long-term recovery.
How the Program Works
Participants report regularly to the program and begin with daily check-in and accountability measures that may include drug screening and progress review. Peer Recovery Coaches work closely with participants to monitor attendance, reinforce expectations, and provide guidance throughout the program.
The daily schedule includes recovery meetings, peer support, life-skills development, and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), an evidence-based program that helps participants examine thinking patterns, strengthen decision-making, and build personal responsibility.
Participants also complete weekly assessments that help track progress in recovery, participation, and personal development. Monthly program reviews allow staff to evaluate progress and determine next steps for continued growth.
Pivot Recovery Connections works in cooperation with Drug Court, probation officers, and other supervising authorities, providing regular communication and progress reporting so that accountability remains consistent across all levels of supervision.
This structure allows the program to combine recovery support with clear expectations, helping participants build the habits and responsibility needed for long-term stability.
Education and Workforce Development
A key goal of Pivot Recovery Connections is helping participants rebuild the stability needed for long-term employment and independence.
Through partnerships with local adult education providers, participants have opportunities to work toward GED completion, job readiness training, and workforce certifications.
Participants also take part in work training and supervised service projects that help rebuild work habits, reliability, and confidence. These activities provide real-world experience while allowing individuals to contribute positively to the community.
Community Partnership
Pivot Recovery Connections works alongside courts, probation officers, treatment providers, churches, businesses, and community organizations to support individuals as they rebuild their lives.
Community partners play an important role by offering mentorship, employment opportunities, and service projects that allow participants to demonstrate responsibility and reconnect with the community.
This shared involvement helps remove stigma, strengthen recovery, and build a stronger support system for individuals working to change their lives.
